Closing Customer Care Team Member

As a Closing Customer Care Team Member at McDonald’s, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service during evening hours while also ensuring the restaurant is properly closed and ready for the next day. You’ll play a key role in keeping the front of house clean, organized, and welcoming, while following all company procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests during late-night and closing hours
  • Handle customer feedback, questions, and concerns with professionalism and care
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining room and customer-facing areas
  • Follow all closing procedures as outlined by management
  • Support a safe and sanitary environment by following food safety standards

Closing Tasks (Customer Care Focused)

  • Dining Room & Lobby: Wipe down and sanitize all tables, chairs, and highchairs
  • Sweep and mop lobby
  • Clean and refill drink station supplies (napkins, lids, straws, etc.)
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners
  • Clean and sanitize touchscreens, kiosks, and counters

Overview of the Role

You’ll contribute to a bright, clean, and welcoming restaurant environment, delivering hot food and excellent service as a Crew Member. You will consistently deliver the highest standards of quality, service and cleanliness in the restaurant, providing friendly, fast and accurate service while following training, company guidelines and management direction. You will also follow workplace safety, security and food hygiene procedures and treat all customers and colleagues with courtesy and respect as a supportive team member.

Qualities and Skills

Friendly, welcoming, courteous and helpful behavior will come naturally to you and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must.
