Retail Shift Manager Lidl in Fort William

Lidl is looking for an experienced Retail Shift Manager to join its store team at Camanachd Crescent in Fort William.
This position would suit someone who enjoys leading people, taking responsibility and keeping a busy supermarket running smoothly, with opportunities to develop a career in retail management.

The Role

• Lead and support colleagues during allocated shifts.
• Motivate the team and help maintain high standards of customer service.
• Take responsibility for store operations in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
• Delegate tasks and organise daily workloads.
• Help colleagues develop their skills and confidence.
• Resolve problems quickly and make practical decisions during busy periods.
• Oversee product freshness and stock presentation.
• Manage inventory and stock control procedures.
• Support cash handling and store financial processes.
• Ensure daily operations are carried out efficiently.
• Maintain a welcoming shopping environment for customers.
• Work alongside colleagues to meet store targets and maintain performance standards.

Working Pattern

• Full time position.
• 40 hours per week.
• Various shifts according to store requirements.
• Additional payments apply for bank holiday and night shift working.

What Is On Offer
