Senior Manager, Investment Optimization & Standards (Restaurants)

Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to pursue initiatives in collaboration with markets to optimize capital investments in restaurant development activities, supporting their opening and reinvestment plans in line with brand standards.

The successful performance of this role is critical to achieving the function\’s goals in the coming years. It requires close collaboration with market teams and relevant BU teams, engaging with members of the Global Restaurant Development & Design Team and the broader Restaurant Experience Team within the organization.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Global Development, Investment Optimization & Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead initiatives with markets to drive value and optimize capital investments in restaurant development and construction solutions.
• Partner with markets, segments, third parties, and other functions to support prototyping and application of optimized restaurant investment solutions.
• Maintain globally applicable tools (e.g., building right-sizing calculator) to inform strategy and activities.
• Lead standardization and scaling of solutions beneficial across markets.
• Collaborate with Global Strategic Sourcing Services and Segments to unlock sourcing opportunities for standardized solutions.
• Provide guidance, benchmarking, best practices, and training to market resources and functions.
• Offer insights and support to stakeholders across the organization on multidisciplinary projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in restaurant development, construction, architecture, engineering, quantity surveying, or a related field.
• Significant experience in development, with broad management knowledge across multiple functional areas of an international multi-site operator (construction, engineering, real estate).
• Proven experience in development cost analysis to identify profitability and optimize capital investments.
