Join McDonald’s UK & Ireland Legal Team as a Legal Secretary (Legal Assistant), supporting the Real Estate Legal Team in a dynamic, fast-paced and friendly environment. This is a rare opportunity to work in-house with a team of experienced real estate lawyers, contributing to high-impact property transactions and legal operations.
Hybrid Working
This role is based in our East Finchley office working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.
What You’ll Be Doing
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing, formatting, and finalising legal documents and reports
- Managing engrossments and preparing documents for signature
- Conducting Land Registry and other property-related searches
- Liaising with internal Development teams
- Assisting with property transaction procedures including exchange and completion
- Handling administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and photocopying
- Managing electronic filing of transaction documents
Qualifications
What You’ll Need:
- Must have prior experience working in a legal environment, with a focus on commercial property
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong document formatting, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to resolve technical formatting issues
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with a “can-do” attitude
- Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in real estate/commercial property
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
