An exciting opportunity to work as part of the New Site Opening and Infrastructure team within Running Great Restaurant Technology. The Infrastructure and Network Officer will be responsible for improving the value of IT infrastructure and network services across the UK&I business, focusing on addressing systematic issues within our services. The work will cover technical, procedural, and behavioural aspects, working across multiple partners, functions and markets to achieve these goals.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Provide technical direction on forward network strategies and best practice.
  • Support infrastructure and/or network production problems, collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot and provide a resolution.
  • Support on day-to-day network stability, control and security.
  • Lead network changes from network design to deployment.
  • Work closely with our global network and infrastructure teams on UK&I alignment to global strategies.
  • Monitor and deliver network improvements to restaurants.
  • Work closely with our UK&I vendors to support new infrastructure or network solutions.
  • Support continuous improvement projects with our partners to support the infrastructure of new site openings.
  • Work closely with Technology Cyber Security to support overall market technology risk reduction.
  • Act as McDonald’s Network point of contact for all appropriate vendors on infrastructure queries.
  • Work closely with Problem Management Team to reduce network-based problems.
  • Support the Infrastructure and Network consultant on developing forward plans, strategies and roadmaps.
  • Support National Operations in providing technical assistance with operational equipment.
