As a Senior Estates Surveyor, you’ll be instrumental in managing and optimising our property portfolio across the UK. You’ll deliver strategic estate management across a large geographical region, ensuring our assets support business priorities and deliver long-term value for our restaurants, franchisees, and customers.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse commercial property portfolio for a Global brand
- Lead lease negotiations, rent reviews, renewals, and land acquisitions/disposals
- Provide strategic advice on estate optimisation, cost control, and asset performance
- Liaise with landlords, agents, solicitors, and internal stakeholders
- Support store redevelopment and relocations
- Ensure compliance with statutory obligations and internal governance
- Prepare and present property deals, valuations, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Advise on planning, development, rating systems, compulsory purchase, and compensation
- Represent McDonald’s in industry bodies such as RICS, PMA, and Accessible Retail
