Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing:

Join McDonald’s UK & Ireland Legal Team as a Legal Assistant, supporting the Real Estate Legal Team in a dynamic, fast-paced and friendly environment. This is a rare opportunity to work in-house with a team of experienced real estate lawyers, contributing to high-impact property transactions and legal operations.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Producing, formatting, and finalising legal documents and reports
  • Managing engrossments and preparing documents for signature
  • Conducting Land Registry and other property-related searches
  • Liaising with internal Development teams
  • Assisting with property transaction procedures including exchange and completion
  • Handling administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and photocopying
  • Managing electronic filing of transaction documents

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a legal environment, with a focus on real estate
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong document formatting, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to resolve technical formatting issues
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in real estate
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
