Candidate should have the following:
- Detailed knowledge of design techniques and analysis methods as well as theory, content and application of standards, codes and guidelines as applicable for offshore pipelines including deep water / ultra-deep water scope (WD>500m).

Essential Qualifications and Education:
- Degree in Engineering.
- Minimum overall experience of 10-12 years in a similar role including deep water / ultra-deep water (WD >500m).
- Software knowledge on the following: AutoPIPE, SAGE, Profile, Mathcad, DNV Proprietary Software (FATFREE, StableLines, etc.), Abaqus.

- Chartered Engineer status.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead the pipelines discipline design work assigned and complete within planned schedule and budget, in accordance with standards, MDR and project-specific procedures and to a high professional standard.
- Plan, organise and direct all aspects of discipline execution on the assigned project including scope, deliverables, schedule, and all manpower resources - agree allocations with the Discipline / Engineering Manager.
- Lead field layout optimisation from pipelines scope standpoint including jumper/expansion spools configurations by working with Operations/Installation teams.
- Prepare, review, and approve reports and calculations to support different phases of the project, namely: conceptual, FEED and detailed design of the pipelines scope.
- Optimise seabed intervention works, such as free span, and lateral buckling and walking mitigation works.
- Support pipelines scope fabrication and offshore production welds ECA/FAC requirements.
- Review and approve ECA, fracture mechanics and fatigue assessment works.
- Review and approve pipelines lateral buckling and walking FE analyses using ABAQUS.
- Direct, supervise and guide assigned engineers as a Lead Pipeline Engineer for pipeline engineering in a positive and encouraging manner.
- Provide technical direction and review of drawings related to pipeline engineering prepared by CAD designers.
- Review and approve vendor and subcontractor submittals, checking for compliance with project specifications and providing comments as necessary.
- Support follow-on engineering, site queries and as-built deliverables.
- Maintain responsibility for progress and productivity, identifying any required corrective action.
- Act as project representative for the Discipline during meetings with Project Team, Client discipline lead and relevant agencies such as certifying authorities, auditors, third parties, etc.
- Ensure interfaces are clearly identified and co-ordinate, interface with other disciplines to deliver the discipline engineering design for the Projects.
- Participate in design reviews and verifications.
- Provide CTRs for different work scopes and support bid proposals, technical queries, execution statements, schedule and man‐hour estimates including key technical qualifications.
- Participate in development and maintenance of Global Procedures, Guidelines Software, and Standards.
- Carry out any other subsea engineering works as and when required by the Company.
