Role Summary
The Project Officer role sits within the Corporate Services Team in the Operations Division. Corporate Services covers finance, HR, procurement, business support, administration, project and programme management, risk management, and property. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Officer will work in a fast‑paced environment alongside finance and project management professionals. The role requires strong organisational skills to coordinate workstreams across the Inquiry, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure timely information flow to support decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate workstreams across the Inquiry and support day‑to‑day project tasks.
- Produce planning documentation, including delivery plans, high‑level summaries, dashboards, and presentations to monitor progress.
- Maintain key project logs (risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, lessons learned) and escalate matters as required.
- Engage with stakeholders, presenting project updates and information clearly.
- Support the Operations Director and Project Manager by ensuring compliance with governance processes, drafting papers, and preparing reports.
- Coordinate project assurance activities and planning.
- Draft updates to key project documentation, including the Inquiry timeline and milestones dashboard.
