The Role at a Glance

We’re recruiting a Territory Manager to manage and grow our new client working on a large global brand in the Leeds area. You’ll build strong relationships with store decision‑makers within the convenience/independent channel, negotiate additional displays and increase distribution and visibility for well‑known household brands. This role is ideal for someone with field sales experience who enjoys autonomy, building relationships, and seeing the direct impact of your work in store. This role offers the chance to work with a range of different, market leading clients and get your foot in the door with our range of specialist agencies. What You’ll Be Doing

As a Territory Manager, you’ll manage your own territory, working closely with the Regional Sales Manager and a friendly, supportive field team. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a FMCG convenience/independent territory and planning visits around store manager availability to maximise opportunities
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with store managers and key decision makers
  • Negotiating additional displays and promotional activity
  • Driving distribution, availability and compliance across agreed product ranges
  • Driving sales based on a solid selling story around our brands and category.

What We’re Looking For

We are ideally looking for a candidate who has the following skills and experience, but if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly, we still encourage you to apply - you might be just the right person for our team. You’ll need:

  • Experience working in field sales or similar role
  • Strong communications skills
  • Excellent time management and territory planning ability
  • Be self-motivated and results-driven
  • A full UK Driving License (no more than 6 points and no previous bans)

Nice to Have:

  • Merchandising or POS executive experience
  • Direct selling skills
