Customer Development Executive – McCurrach on behalf of Carlsberg Britvic
Location – Sutton Coldfield & Surrounding areas (Ideal postcode B73). Permanent, full time – 40 hours per week. Salary £29,750 basic + 20% Bonus.

Ready to power up your Sales career? Passionate about iconic beers and soft drinks? Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK, with a broad portfolio of brands across beers, ciders and soft drinks. This role offers tools, training, and support to succeed.
What You’ll Do
- Work with a Regional Sales Manager, selling a portfolio of Soft Drinks and Beers to Convenience (Symbol & Independent) retailers.
- Establish and retain new business opportunities; deliver a territory business plan aimed at maximising sales opportunities.
- Partner with customers by building outstanding relationships, understanding retailer needs and local consumers, and executing solutions.
- Adopt a full category-based selling approach to grow every outlet’s performance for the benefit of the retailer and Carlsberg Britvic.
- Use data and evidence-based retailer successes to drive best practice in your territory, region, and across the team.
- Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach to tackle challenges and win over your stores.
About You

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Direct Sales/Convenience or FMCG is a plus.
- Good administration, organisational, and planning skills; commercially astute with strong negotiation techniques.
- Self-motivated, IT and Social Media literate.
- Strong and resilient with the energy to act at pace; collaborative team participation.
- Full valid manual driving licence; eligibility to work in the UK; live within a 60-minute commute from the role location.
What We Offer
- A starting salary of £29,750 with a 20% quarterly bonus.
- A company vehicle and fuel card.
Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points or bans). All offers are subject to successful completion of a DVLA licence check.
