Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular brands, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn to ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, our brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.
In this role as Customer Development Executive, you will help grow Carlsberg Britvic market share within your defined territory. Working as part of a successful team, you will drive sales of our fantastic portfolio of beers, ciders and soft drinks by maximising brand availability and visibility in symbol and independent stores.
What You’ll Do
- Make face‑to‑face contact with convenience retailers (symbol & independent), establishing and retaining new business opportunities, and delivering a business plan for your territory focused on maximising sales opportunities.
- Partner with customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience stores, understanding retailer needs, their local consumers, and executing solutions.
- Adopt a full category‑based selling approach to grow and develop every outlet for the benefit of both the retail outlet and Carlsberg Britvic.
- Create a winning territory business plan and take a business development approach to grow sales and market share.
- Use data and evidence‑based retailer successes to drive best practice in your territory, region, and across the team.
- Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach, demonstrating an ability to offer alternative approaches to tackling challenges and win over your stores.
About You

- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in direct sales/convenience or FMCG is desirable.

- Self‑motivated; IT and social media literate.
- Strong and resilient with personal energy to act at pace.
- Able to work proactively as part of a team.
- Full valid manual driving licence; eligibility to work in the UK and live within a 60‑minute commute from the role location.
What We Offer
