Customer Development Executive – Carlsberg Britvic
Location – Chelmsford, Witham & surrounding areas (Ideal postcode CM8)
Permanent, Full time – 40 hours per week
Salary £29,750 basic + 20% bonus
Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‐beverage supplier in the UK and is home to iconic beer and soft drink brands, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti, Brooklyn, Hobgoblin, Wainwright, J2O, Robinsons, Tango, London Essence and the license rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK (Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea, Rockstar Energy). With a national footprint that spans 6 production facilities and 16 logistics depots, we are committed to ensuring our people succeed.
What You\’ll DoWorking with a Regional Sales Manager, you will sell our Suites of Soft Drinks and Beer portfolio to convenience retailers (Symbol & Independent), establishing and retaining new business opportunities, and delivering a territory business plan focussed on maximising sales opportunities.

Partner with our customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience stores, understanding retailer needs, local consumers, and executing solutions.
Adopt a full category‐based selling approach to grow and develop every outlet you work with for the benefit of the retail outlet and Carlsberg Britvic.
Create a winning territory business plan and take a business‐development approach to grow sales and market share.
Use data and evidence‐based retailer successes to drive best practice in your territory, region, and across the team.
Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach that demonstrates an ability to offer alternative approaches to tackling challenges and winning over your stores.

Previous experience in Direct Sales/Convenience or FMCG desirable.

Strong and resilient, with the personal energy and will to act at pace.
Participating as part of a team proactively.
Full valid manual driving licence, eligibility to work in the UK and live within a 60‐minute commute from the location of the role (essential).
What We Offer
A starting salary of £29,750 and a 20% quarterly bonus.
Please note this role requires a full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points or previous bans); all offers will be subject to a successful DVLA licence check.
