About The Role
As a Client Reporting & Insight Executive, you will take ownership of the reporting and insight interface for a number of our key clients and will communicate the needs of the client to the PBI Development team. You will play a key role in translating reporting outputs into client-friendly insights that enable us to make commercially focused decisions and maintain optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the reporting and insight relationship for a group of our clients, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience.
- Translate client needs into well-defined requests and support shaping requirements so that they are specific and add measurable value.
- Responsible for the quality of reporting, ensuring clarity and commercial value.
- Identify and diagnose issues to be rectified by the Power BI Team.
- Ensure reporting is commercially focused and provides clear, client-focused insights and recommendations.
- Take ownership of how to structure reporting narratives, which insights are relevant and how to frame recommendations to clients.
- Attend relevant client forums to provide updates and clarity on reporting.
- Where appropriate, challenge client requests that offer lack of clarity or low commercial value, and take an active role in shaping reasonable and consistent expectations.
- Brief on incoming requests, allocate tasks as required and quality check new outputs before they go to the client.
- Proactively identify risks, anomalies and opportunities and feed improvements back into ways of working and standards.
- Continuously improve templates, insight narratives and reporting standards so output is faster, clearer and more consistent over time.
- Maintain regular communication with various stakeholders to align reporting outputs to client objectives.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in reporting / insight in a commercial environment.
- Advanced insight storytelling - ability to turn numbers into a clear narrative and recommendation.
- Knowledge of Power BI to be able to diagnose issues & communicate effectively.
- Experience of using AI to add value to insights.
- High quality standards to ensure consistent excellence.
- Experience utilising field sales datasets and capture tools would be preferred.
