Representing a new client Natures Menu operating in the Independent Pet Retailer Channel.

Company car and fuel card / Grade 3 with 10% bonus.

3-month secondment from 30th March - may lead to longer term opportunity if pilot is successful.

Are you looking to broaden your experience and gain exposure to a completely new channel? We are 'paw-sitive' you'll love this opportunity!

This secondment offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, high‑performing colleague who is ready to step into something different, accelerate their development, and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of this pilot.

You will be calling upon independent pet retailers to increase sales for Natures Menu. You will be developing existing customers as well as prospecting / new customer acquisition within this channel.

Joining this new fixed-term pilot will give you hands‑on experience with a new client and channel, while also putting you at the heart of a high‑profile piece of work. You’ll be instrumental in helping us demonstrate the value of this team and supporting the goal of converting it into a permanent operation for Standout Field Marketing.

We’re looking for someone confident, capable, and ready to bring their expertise into a fast‑moving, commercially important environment. Experience within the convenience independents channel would be ideal, but strong transferable skills and a track record of high performance are equally important. If you have operated in this channel previously even better!

Why Consider a Secondment?

A secondment is one of the most powerful ways to boost your development without leaving the organisation. It gives you the chance to step into something new, stretch your skills, and build experience that you simply can’t gain in your day‑to‑day role. Colleagues who have taken secondments often return more confident, more capable, and better prepared for future progression opportunities.

This secondment is an excellent way to:

  • Stretch your skills in a new environment
  • Build relationships with a new client and new internal contacts
  • Gain valuable exposure to a high‑profile pilot team
  • Strengthen your experience for future development and progression
  • Bring fresh insight back to your substantive role

If you're curious, ambitious, and excited by the chance to step into something new for a fixed period, this is a brilliant opportunity to say yes to.

If you are ready to 'unleash' your potential please remember to speak to your Line Manager first to confirm endorsement before applying. Then apply via the internal portal. If you would like to discuss the opportunity in more detail please reach out to Laura Farrell, Group Talent Management Partner or Pat Bramich, Account Controller.
