MCMS is a leading project management consultancy specialising in delivering complex, high-value projects. We pride ourselves on driving efficiency, innovation, and excellence for our clients.
As we continue to scale our portfolio, we are dedicated to fortifying our corporate governance. We are currently working toward achieving ISO 9001 (Quality) and ISO 27001 (Information Security) certifications. To help drive this crucial milestone, we are seeking a dedicated and proactive SHEQ Manager to champion safety, quality, and information security frameworks across all our operations.

- Information Security Alignment: Partner with IT and Operations to embed ISO 27001 information security policies, access controls, and risk assessment management into our standard project delivery workflows.
- QMS Management: Establish and oversee the company’s Quality Management System (QMS) under ISO 9001 guidelines to ensure deliverables meet strict internal benchmarks and client expectations.
- Audit Readiness: Lead internal gap analyses, map compliance processes, and act as the primary point of contact for external auditors during the formal certification processes.
Health, Safety & Environment
- System Ownership: Maintain and continually improve the company’s Health and Safety Management System in line with industry regulations (e.g., CDM 2015, Health and Safety at Work Act).
- Site & Risk Audits: Review project documentation (RAMS, Construction Phase Plans)
- Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into any site accidents or near-misses, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Sustainability: Formulate environmental strategies to monitor, report, and reduce the carbon footprint and waste across our offices and projects.
- Culture Change: Foster a proactive, collaborative culture that values both physical safety and data security across the wider project management and delivery teams.
- Training & Inductions: Deliver impactful SHEQ and information security briefings, toolbox talks, and new-hire compliance inductions.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience managing SHEQ functions, ideally within a project management, engineering, or professional services setting.
- ISO Expertise: Direct, demonstrable experience preparing an organisation for, or maintaining, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications is highly desirable.
- Auditing: Valid qualification as an Internal Auditor (Lead Auditor status is a distinct advantage).
- H&S Qualifications: NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent).
Skills & Attributes:
- A methodical, process-driven approach with a sharp eye for document control and data security.
- Strong communication and coaching skills - the ability to influence both site teams and senior corporate stakeholders.
