Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced CAD/BIM/Revit Automation Specialist with 5 to 6 years of hands-on industry experience to join our team.
The ideal candidate isn't just an operator, but an expert user who understands how these tools function under the hood.
A technical specialist who combines expert-level drafting/modelling skills with a passion for process automation.
You will be responsible for creating high-performance models, setting up parametric asset libraries, extracting data properties/attributes, automating repetitive tasks, building robust templates and building custom scripts to automate our core Revit and Auto CAD workflows.
Key Responsibilities
• Hands-on BIM/CAD Production
Create, manage, and audit high-quality models and drawings in Revit and Auto CAD following industry and project standards.
• Workflow & Task Automation
Develop scripts and routines (e. g., via Dynamo, Auto LISP, or Python) to automate repetitive modelling, drafting, and data extraction tasks in Auto CAD and Revit.
- Data & Property
Extraction: Extract, organise, and export dynamic object properties, attributes, and parameters into structured formats (e. g., Schedules, Excel, CSV) for downstream usage.
• Template & Content Creation
Build and maintain standardised Revit project templates, family libraries, dynamic blocks, lookup tables, and sheet sets to streamline team-wide production.
• Standards & Optimisation
Ensure strict adherence to BIM/CAD standards, troubleshoot complex software/model issues, and optimise model performance for large-scale projects.
Experience & Technical Expertise
- 5 to 6 years of proven professional experience working directly with Revit and Auto CAD in an AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) environment.
• Deep Tool Mastery
Deep, practical understanding of how Revit and Auto CAD operate under the hood, beyond basic drafting or modelling.
- Automation Proficiency: Proven capability using Dynamo (for Revit) and/or Auto LISP / Action Macros (for Auto CAD). Experience with Python or C# / Revit API is a strong plus.
