We are looking for a reliable and motivated Cook / Chef to join our busy Food to Go department. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in producing high-quality, fresh food for customers on the go. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting a range of hot and cold food items while maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of fresh food items to a high standard
- Ensure all food is presented attractively and consistently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and prep areas
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering when required
- Minimise waste and ensure efficient use of ingredients
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet customer demand
Requirements
- Previous experience as a cook, chef, or in a similar food preparation role
- Good understanding of food hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Flexible availability across Monday to Sunday, including weekends
