McCulla (Ireland) Ltd is a leading provider of Ambient, Chilled and Frozen logistics solutions throughout Ireland, the United Kingdom and Europe. We are looking to recruit a Night Shift Transport Coordinator at Lisburn due to continued growth and career progression plans. The ideal candidate will want to have a career within the transport industry and have a passion to learn all areas of our operations.
About The Role
- Meet our customer requirements for safe and efficient transport of goods according to operating procedures and statutory requirements.
- Track trailer movements and keep customers updated.
- Check supplier documentation against loads.
- Liaise with subcontractors.
- Briefing drivers.
- Prepare shift handovers and measure KPIs.
- Learn all aspects of Transport across the island of Ireland and the UK.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a transport/warehousing operation or strong interest in pursuing a career within the transport industry.
- Effective communicator both written and verbal.
- High level IT skills as the complete operation is digital.
- Knowledge of transport legislation.
- Good time keeping and ability to work in a structured manner adhering to timetable requirements.
- Problem solving ability.
- Flexible attitude to working hours & shift patterns to support the needs of the business.
Employment Terms
- Shift Patterns: Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2 – Wednesday, Thursday; Week 3 – Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- Hours of work: 6:00pm – 6:00am.
- Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 depending on experience.
