McCue is seeking a Product Development Engineer to join our team at our Milton Keynes UK location. The Product Development Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of innovative products that will continue to grow McCue’s business. This position will play a key role in the McCue product development team and will require a self-motivated, creative, and detail-oriented team member.

  • Develop and launch innovative products with leading functionality, compelling value, and strong aesthetics.
  • Provide engineering support and expertise to customers, sales, and operations teams for new and existing products.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of products through detailed drawings, specifications, and engineering change notices.
  • Effectively manage and complete projects within the designated timelines and budgets.
  • Design, prototype, and test new products to ensure they meet functional and aesthetic standards.
  • Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for production and customer documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product development and problem-solving efforts.
  • Travel to customer sites and supplier meetings as technical engineering support for new product development.
  • Lead the design and development of new products from concept to production.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure successful product launches.
  • Strong proficiency in SolidWorks and other 3D rendering programs.
  • Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, contributing to a dynamic and creative team environment.

Normal working hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Candidates must reside within a reasonable commuting distance, defined as up to approximately 1 hour travel time to the office. Travel: International travel expected as part of the role (estimated 25%-30%).
