We are looking for enthusiastic and knowledgeable Associate Trainers to support the delivery of high-quality training across the water, drainage and gas utility sectors. This role is ideal for trainers with hands-on sector experience who are passionate about developing others, promoting safe working practices, and helping learners build the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.

- Deliver engaging training sessions to learners working in water, wastewater, or gas utility environments.
- Support the development of technical knowledge, compliance awareness, and safe working behaviours.
- Prepare training materials and contribute to the continuous improvement of course content.
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback and coaching.
- Promote best practice in health, safety, environmental awareness, and utility sector practices.
- Maintain accurate training records and support quality assurance requirements.
- Work collaboratively with our team, clients, and learners to ensure a positive training experience.
Requirements
What We Are Looking For
- Previous operational experience in the water/drainage/gas industry, such as clean water and wastewater networks, leak detection, high pressure water jetting and gas distribution networks.
- Strong understanding and experience of health, safety, and environmental practices within operational environments.
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently to learners from Operations to Project and Contract Managers.
- Experience in training, mentoring, coaching, or assessment.
- A relevant training or assessment qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Knowledge of industry-recognised schemes such as EUSR National Water Hygiene, SHEA Drain & Sewers or Network Construction Operations (Water or Gas) would be advantageous.
- A proactive, professional approach with strong organisation and interpersonal skills.
