The R&D Process Technologist sits in a pivotal role in the R&D team, responsible for the implementation of new products and processes into manufacturing plants. The role supports projects from development through to commercial launch, supports the implementation of proactive technology platforms projects and provides technical support for continuous improvement projects in conjunction with cross functional partners in McCormick's Peterborough location.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive flawless implementation of new condiment products from trial to launch and handover to BAU.
  • Scale up recipes from kitchen development to factory friendly, optimized at the start of scale up.
  • Use specialist recipe software systems (DevEx, FT Batch, MES) to set up recipes during data setup tasks.
  • Lead factory trials and launch productions collating key process data.
