Maintenance Engineer (night shift)

We are looking for a proactive and multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, Night Shift to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will support the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of production equipment during the night shift, carrying out planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and helping to drive continuous improvement across the site.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow site Health & Safety standards, including PPE, LOTO, isolation, safe entry, permit, and contractor control procedures.
- Support a safe working environment by ensuring safety checks, job sign-offs, and equipment records are completed correctly.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems, GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, Environmental, and company standards.
- Complete maintenance documentation accurately and ensure records are available for internal and external audits.
- Carry out multi-skilled maintenance activities across electrical, mechanical, and controls disciplines.
- Respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot faults, and ensure equipment is returned to a safe and serviceable condition.
- Complete planned preventative maintenance activities and work orders within agreed timescales.
- Record all maintenance work accurately in the CMMS, including spare parts usage.
- Coordinate with stores personnel to ensure required spare parts are available. xgikmsk
