Distribution Centre Crew Leader Peterborough Rotating shift 3 on / 3 off (day/night, night/day) This is a great opportunity to join our team and continue the great work in bringing to life our condiments manufacturing facility, located in Peterborough, UK.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Setting the direction of shift team and ensure overall performance of the department to meet objectives for safety, quality, process reliability, productivity, food safety, hygiene, and customer service.

Participating in and/or leads cross-functional improvement teams and other HPO (High Performance Organization) activities.

Ensuring product and service meets all compliance and food safety regulations and complete all follow up activities.

Maintaining inventory control and traceability and work with Stock Controllers to investigate, execute, and communicate root cause failure analysis, including recommending and implementing resolutions.

Managing the DC yard, Palletizer area, IBC management and including management of SILO area, waste management and Security.

Manage all inbound deliveries and outbound collections as per schedules, support in customer complaints or supplier deliveries.

Manage rotas, holidays, sickness, overtime requirements for your team Participating in the interview process, on-boarding and early development of team members.

Picking stock for customer collections, production areas, quality team, R mechanical aptitude; presentation skills.

Strong coordination ability.

Able to build and maintain contacts across the Plant.

Ability to teach/coach direct team in operational area / key interface with other areas/teams within the Plant and contributes to the Plant results.

Equal understanding on manufacturing and warehouse operations environments.

Strong understanding of PDCA (plan-do-check-act) methodology and able to facilitate and/or participate in problem-solving discussions with team or cross-functional team.
