This role involves leading the delivery of Comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CCI) projects for our Flavour Solutions division at our manufacturing site in Peterborough UK. Leading the process to identify new CCI opportunities through engagement with cross-functional and single function teams, plus delivering and supporting key EMEA Business Improvement strategic initiatives. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES • Project management of Business Improvement initiatives and coordination of cross-functional personnel to ensure delivery of key projects and planned results. • Leading, with support of the Business Improvement Director the process of identification and analysis of Business Improvement projects for the relevant markets/geography, including cross-functional concept development with teams to present at Program Reviews for approval. • Ensure relevant leadership and/or management teams are aware of performance of projects and the total CCI program for their areas versus targets, and work with those management teams to ensure that any gaps to target are understood and are being addressed (e.g. country leadership; procurement category managers). • Ensure that single function CCI initiatives are being effectively tracked and that these initiatives are being delivered on time and in accordance with the project tracking. • Share and align with global team on best practices in the areas of tools and expertise relating to process and productivity improvement/cost protection/cost saving initiatives. CANDIDATE PROFILE • Project management experience required. • Extensive experience across multiple business disciplines. • Demonstrated success leading small-medium scale cross-functional projects. • Ability to exercise good judgment under pressure and in sensitive situations. • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and employees. • Ability to work across multiple business units and disciplines with competing priorities. • Knowledge of and demonstrated project management skills and principles, resource management and change management techniques. • Ability to influence without authority. • Broad understanding of end to end business process – Packaging Development, Product Development, Procurement, Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning, Quality. • Knowledge and experience of SAP advantageous. • University degree in a related discipline.
