Lead McCormick’s growth agenda within the meat processing sector across Thailand and Southeast Asia by building strategic partnerships with leading chicken and protein processors. The role is based in Thailand and responsible for driving customer diversification, accelerating innovation pipelines, identifying opportunities across domestic and export markets, and positioning McCormick as the preferred flavour solutions partner for processors serving QSR, CVS, FMCG, and Foodservice channels.
The Commercial Manager will act as a trusted advisor to customers, translating market insights, consumer trends, and processor capabilities into sustainable business growth while delivering profitable value creation for both customers and McCormick.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive Strategic Growth within Meat Processors – Develop and execute growth strategies for key meat processing customers, with a focus on chicken processors in Thailand. Build long-term account plans, identify whitespace opportunities, and expand McCormick’s share of wallet across coatings, marinades and seasonings.
- Build Executive-Level Customer Partnerships – Establish strong relationships with decision-makers across commercial, R&D, procurement, operations, and leadership teams. Position McCormick as a strategic partner capable of supporting customer growth ambitions across domestic and export markets.
- Lead Customer Diversification & Pipeline Development – Identify and unlock new opportunities across QSR, Convenience Stores (CVS), FMCG, and Foodservice channels. Translate customer needs into innovation pipelines that support business expansion and long-term growth.
- Drive Innovation & Value Creation – Partner closely with R&D, Marketing, Commercialization, Regulatory, Finance and Supply Chain teams to develop differentiated solutions that address market trends, customer challenges, and emerging consumer demands.
- Commercial Performance & Business Planning – Deliver revenue, profit, and pipeline targets through disciplined account management, forecasting, pricing strategy, and financial planning. Monitor business performance and proactively drive corrective actions to close gaps and accelerate growth.
- Market Intelligence & Strategic Leadership – Develop deep understanding of protein processing trends, competitive landscape, export market requirements, and channel dynamics. Represent the voice of the customer internally and contribute to strategic business planning within Southeast Asia.
- Minimum 8–10 years of commercial, business development, or key account management experience within the food ingredient, seasoning, protein processing, FMCG, or food manufacturing industries.
- Demonstrated success managing and growing business with major meat or poultry processors in Thailand.
- Strong understanding of chicken processing operations, value chains, and commercial decision-making processes.
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth, customer diversification, and strategic account expansion.
- Experience working with customers serving QSR, Convenience Store (CVS), FMCG, Retail, and Foodservice channels.
- Experience supporting export-focused processors serving international markets is highly desirable.
