The Senior Product Development Technologist will lead new product development and CCI initiatives in the SEA region, focusing on coating systems and seasonings technology. Responsibilities include interfacing with customer innovation teams, developing new flavors and ingredients, supporting new product development, improving product quality, and optimizing costs through CCI (Comprehensive Continuous Improvement) programs and DTV (Design to Value) principles for the Flavour solutions and Consumer Segment.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To lead the CCI R&D product, process and packaging initiatives collaborating within R&D team, cross functional teams and CCI lead in SEA.
  • To lead new product development on coating systems and seasonings technology applying design to value principles and right the first time mindset.
  • To support quality improvement of existing products, new supplier and raw material qualifications and specification development.
  • To ensure project management is in place on all projects by defining and assessing project requirements, designing and managing product development on time and in full.
  • To support the flavor solutions commercial team on all product development co-creation and request by our customers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education and Discipline

BSc in Food Science/Technology, Food Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field

Minimum Experience Required

Minimum of 5 years’ experience

Certifications and/or Licenses

Food Handling and Food Safety Certification

  • Problem Solving: Interpret data, solve complex problems with incomplete information, manage risk in critical decisions.
  • Collaboration: Project management, interact, seek advice, teach, influence, negotiate, and influence across the organization.
