Responsibilities
- Build overarching social media strategy for relevant brands, addressing deeper consumer engagement and 1:1 connections through emerging channels, cultural trends, and content insights.
- Work alongside creative and PR teams to drive paid social media tactics and PR programs, ensuring creative is based on insights and key learnings.
- Traffic all paid social media assets to media agency to meet campaign deadlines.
- Lead new social media content development for products, trends, and content gaps, collaborating with internal content teams and agencies.
- Attend pre‐production meetings and photoshoots to ensure alignment with brand tone and best practices.
- Lead quarterly content brainstorms.
- Oversee monthly social media content planning, ensuring all posts meet best practices, align with Brand Tone of Voice, and support business priorities.
- Develop organic content plan, publish all content, and manage 1:1 community response through social media.
- Execute quarterly reporting on insights such as average engagement rate, total impressions, and follower growth across all brands and platforms.
- Develop ongoing project‐specific recaps for senior leadership.
- Stay up‐to‐date on current industry trends and platform capabilities, recommending innovative ways to connect with consumers through social media.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Digital Media, Marketing, or Communications.
- Relevant work experience or related internships.
- Strategic, detail‐oriented, deadline driven, and able to handle a high‐volume workload.
- Experience working with many cross‐functional team members across the organization.
- Experience with management.
- Strong knowledge of native social insights tools (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.) and ability to adapt easily with platform changes.
- Willingness to react and respond in a timely manner.
- Keeps up‐to‐date with industry trends and new platform innovations.
- Experience working with multiple brands with unique styles and tones of voice – an asset.
- Creative background in animated GIFs and social graphics (beginner level in Photoshop and other Adobe products) – an asset.
- Familiar with social management and monitoring tools (Hootsuite, Curalate, Crimson Hexagon, etc.) – an asset.
- Knowledge of paid social analytics tools (Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads Manager, etc.) – an asset.
- Cooking experience/food and ingredient knowledge – an asset.
