We are currently hiring for Plant Sanitation B shift to join our Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London. This position is on Afternoon B Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:50pm-11:10pm).

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the building according to good manufacturing practices, and health and safety standards
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines
- Follow directions
- Record all necessary information as required for the sanitation program
- Responsible for performing a variety of wet and dry cleaning tasks within the building
- Perform tasks using various equipment, e.g. sky lift unit, forklift truck and hand truck
- Maintains a high sanitation level in building
- Adheres to GMP standards, Health and Safety regulations, and work procedures
- Adhere to Sanitation Plan Schedules, e.g. Daily, Weekly, etc. frequencies
- Daily completion of sanitation task paperwork
- Responsible for all trash removal and recyclable items
- Other assignments as required
Qualifications required:
- OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
- 1-2 years manufacturing experience
- Plant sanitation experience considered an asset
- Must be familiar with food plant operations
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment
- Ability to work at heights up to 30 feet
- Forklift experience is an asset
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Ability to operate powered hand trucks and ability to obtain Forklift certification required
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and take initiative to respond to changing priorities and fluctuating workloads
- Must be able to work overtime as required
- Ability to do heavy physical work (e.g. lifting up to 50lbs)
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Available to work other shifts as required
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base pay for this position is $19.90 per hour + $1 per hour shift differential for shift. Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Dividend Program.
