We are currently hiring for a Machine Operator to join our Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London (519 432 7311). This position is on Afternoon B Shift (Monday-Friday, 2:40pm-11:00pm).

Position Overview: Working in our manufacturing environment, you will:

  • Supply and operate various production machines
  • Assist in routine equipment maintenance and change overs
  • Perform sanitation procedures
  • Assist in generating and tracking production statistics
  • Maintain quality standards by performing quality checks
  • Trouble shoot packaging equipment components
  • Work safely and follow all in-place policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
  • Ability to safely perform physical work, including, pushing, pulling, and lifting to 50lbs repetitively
  • Ability to work overtime and in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant mechanical experience, experience with operating automatic and semi-automatic filling and packaging equipment, and SAP knowledge would be considered an asset

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base pay for this position is $21.23 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential for shift. Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Dividend Program.
