Schwartz is currently looking for a full‑time Field Support Merchandiser to cover Dundee, Perth, St. Andrews and Dunfermline.
Salary: £27,840 per annum. Company van available; vehicle can be used for personal use. Fuel card provided with claimable rate in line with pump costs.
Type of contract: Permanent. Working 40 hours per week Monday – Saturday (Wednesday off). No Sunday work scheduled unless required at Christmas, where double time will be paid. The role requires occasional travel away from home; when working away days will be Monday to Friday.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and manage store contact relationships within major supermarkets such as Tesco, ASDA and Morrisons.
- Use technology to maintain availability and record excellent execution in store.
- Collect and deliver stock to stores each day to ensure 100% availability of product on shelf and compliance to store plans.
- Take full responsibility for maintaining store records including inventory.
- Support other brands in the McCormick family when required.
Candidate Profile
- Full UK driving licence (essential), right to work in the UK and a UK bank account.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage own time to meet required deadlines.
- Prepared to stay away from home when required (accommodation and meal expenses covered).
- Positive can‑do approach when managing relationships and expectations in stores.
- Enjoy being out on the road and working independently.
- Work as part of a wider team sharing ideas and good practice to drive business success.
- Put the customers’ needs at the centre of everything they do.
