Job Overview
Responsible for managing Procurement operation under responsibilities categories for McCormick Amata Plant. This role focuses on end-to-end procurement process, cost optimization, cross-functional coordination to ensure efficiency and compliance with procurement and company policy and also align with procurement and supply chain strategies.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct whole procurement process for categories that are under responsibility, starting from sourcing, pre-screening, price negotiation, contracting, and SAP’s transaction for procurement related.
- Track price pending orders and ensure timely updates on both NPD price and database.
- Pre-screen supplier to ensure they meet McCormick standard requirements and compliances, and involve in supplier qualification by working closely with Supplier Quality/Regulatory Affairs and other related functions.
- Request and follow up samples for new materials and product development to meet requirement timeline.
- Update and prepare documentation to support audit: Halal, GFSI, Approval Vendor List.
- Follow up rejected, claimed, damaged direct material with suppliers to meet the timeline.
- Lead cost-saving projects for responsible categories to meet organisation targets.
- Manage supplier relationships in the responsible categories through McCormick SRM/SPM program.
Required & Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement/Business or other relevant fields.
- 2-3 years experience in Purchasing/Procurement/Supply Chain with business experiences.
- Experience in SAP/Microsoft Office.
- Professional in English communication.
- Good communication skills and team working.
