The EMEA Supply Chain Finance Director – Flavour acts as a strategic Finance Business Partner to the EMEA Flavour Supply Chain Director. This role provides forward‑looking financial leadership, insight, and constructive challenge to drive performance, enable informed decision‑making, and support delivery of strategic and operational objectives across the EMEA Flavour Supply Chain network. The role integrates robust financial stewardship, deep operational insight, and strong people leadership to drive financial discipline, enhance performance transparency, and foster continuous improvement across manufacturing and distribution operations.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnering
- Act as trusted Finance Business Partner to the EMEA Flavour Supply Chain Director and senior Supply Chain leadership.
- Provide proactive financial insight, challenge, and strategic guidance to improve decision quality and business outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong cross‑functional relationships across Supply Chain, Commercial, and Finance.
- Deliver high‑quality financial input for senior leadership and Board‑level presentations.
- Financial Performance & Reporting
- Monitor and drive financial performance across manufacturing and distribution operations.
- Provide clear commentary and insight into month‑end results, highlighting risks, opportunities, and required actions.
- Facilitate business ownership of financial results and performance improvement initiatives.
- Review management reports, extract key insights, and present findings to senior stakeholders.
- Business Planning & Forecasting
- Lead and facilitate budgeting and forecasting processes across factories, freight, and distribution operations.
- Partner with Supply Chain leaders to challenge assumptions and ensure robust, realistic, and aligned plans.
- Provide financial input into the strategic planning process, ensuring operational resource plans align with commercial strategy.
- Oversee financial modelling, analyze outcomes, and communicate implications to senior stakeholders.
- Deliver operational and financial performance insights aligned to business strategy.
- Identify and validate cost optimization and network efficiency opportunities.
- Partner on inventory management initiatives to optimize working capital and cash flow.
- Recommend operational and strategic improvements to enhance financial performance.
- Lead financial evaluation of capital investments and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct sensitivity and risk analysis to support robust decision‑making.
- Manage the Capital Asset Acquisition Process (CAAP) in line with corporate policy.
- Ensure appropriate financial documentation and governance standards are met.

- Business Improvement & Change Leadership
- Support delivery of Continuous Cost Improvement (CCI) and other strategic transformation initiatives.
- Provide financial analysis to evaluate opportunities, risks, and trade‑offs between cost and operational performance.
- Review and enhance finance and supply chain processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide strong technical leadership and stewardship to the Supply Chain Finance team.
- Set clear priorities, goals, and performance expectations.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members to deliver high‑value business support.
- Ensure appropriate resourcing, succession planning, and capability development.
- Provide regular performance feedback, coaching, and recognition to foster engagement and high performance.
- Remove organizational barriers to enable the team to achieve objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Senior‑level experience in Supply Chain Finance, preferably within FMCG.
- Strong technical finance expertise, including manufacturing finance, cost control, capital investment appraisal, and financial planning.
- Experience preparing and presenting materials for senior leadership and Board‑level audiences.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong capability in PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex operational and financial data.
- Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across functions.
- Demonstrated experience building trusted, long‑term relationships at leadership level.
- Strong prioritization skills, focusing effort on high‑impact activities.
