The Global Process Manager (GPM)– is responsible for understanding business requirements for the Integrated Business Process workstream and working cross-functionally to develop the global process and technology solution templates in partnership with other workstream leaders, acting as an internal business consultant to leverage both global process standards and technical system expertise. The GPM participates with business process solutions experts from an end-to-end process perspective. The position includes understanding the business and behavioural requirements of their assigned workstream and working cross-functionally to drive success for Program Leo and the McCormick organization through the global transformation.
The GPM will report to the Associate Global Process Owner – IBP and will work in partnership and collaborate closely with IBP GPMs and GPMs across the program. In addition, strong coordination with the business leaders, process teams, and Organizational Readiness team, among others is essential.The GPM’s focus on delivering solutions for areas within IBP’s full scope: Production Planning / Detailed Scheduling, Material Planning, Demand and Supply Planning, Replenishment / Vendor Managed Inventory, Inventory Planning, Analytics and Reporting.
The GPM should be able to demonstrate strong business and technical acumen and build a working knowledge of the future state of the program so that they can effectively assist with recommendations on Key Design Decisions (KDDs), mapping of MKC users in defined roles, and execution of business metrics to ensure site deployment readiness.
Key accountabilities include:
- · leadership to drive global alignment on industry standard solutions,
- · ability to design and deploy globally aligned end-to-end processes,
- · drive business transformation (change management),
- · enable seamless collaboration with IT group to implement the enabling technologies, and
- · leadership to drive seamless integration with adjacent processes
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confirm the team is utilizing leading practice assets & practices
- Drive decisions to align processes to Global Template & Standard design
- Integrate with Solution Architect to drive cross team integration
- Partner with the business users to design and deliver a cost center solution including the related assessments
- Collaborate with process and workstreams to drive testing, change, training, data, cutover and hyper care activities.
- Define and implement the functional area Process Roadmap to deliver targeted business benefits and ease of process use for the end user.
- Actively participates in the development and continuous improvement of global policies and processes, inclusive of proper documentation, training, testing, and controls
- Define and implement KPIs and performance measures leveraging best practice benchmarking with a focus on continuous improvement
- Collaborate with IT on system implementation/enhancement initiatives
- Ensure adequate and timely root cause analysis to understand problem drivers and implementation of necessary corrections and/or changes.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure global alignment of priorities working in a matrixed environment.
- Drive adoption of global process standards and gain buy-in from key stakeholders.
- Lead associated change management activities for key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor\’s Degree in related professional business or professional experience.
· Strategic thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Subject matter expert of functional area process and tools
· Collaborative and resilient with a global mindset
· experience in a complex multinational organization
· Demonstrated experience working in a matrixed global environment.
· Program and project management experience required.
· Stakeholder management experience with ability to influence & persuade key stakeholders and to constructively deal with conflicts.
· Formal continuous improvement ( LEAN / Six Sigma) and project management ( PMP) certification/training desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- demonstrated in-depth knowledge and expertise across the global workstream capabilities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of McCormick’s current business processes, their assigned workstream area, and ways of working.
- Performed transformational change at McCormick, preferably in Program Leo
- ERP Implementation Experience / Leadership
- Demonstrated buy-in for transformational change at McCormick and specifically Program Leo
