Our client is looking to appoint a locally based Surveyor, preferably with some Estimating experience working with Flat Roofing Systems such as Single Ply, Liquid Applied Membranes, Felt, Green Roofs and Built Up Roofing. It may also be advantageous if you have experience working with Sheeting and Cladding systems.
You will have a good knowledge of the flat roofing market and you will be ambitious and dynamic with a desire to build upon your current knowledge and experience. Based in the newly refurbished Camberley office and travelling to site regularly, you will be working on 4/5 projects at any one time with a value ranging from £50K-£500K and may also be working on 1 larger project up to £2M in value. Typically, you will be working across Educational Facilities, Retail, Industrial Buildings and Housing Blocks.
The Camberley Office is led by the Regional Director, who has been with the business for over 25 years and you will be reporting to the Operations Manager and will be working alongside the Contracts-Delivery Team.
The day to day duties of the position will include monthly valuations, CVR’s, measurement, sub contract procurement, valuing variations and overall responsibility for the commercial function on both main and sub contractor projects. You will also be able to assist with submission of new tenders of specialist flat-roofing works in Industrial and Commercial Sectors.
