Who?

Our client ZLX Business Solutions is a B2B consultancy company, based in Paisley, specialising in Business Law, HMRC Tax Relief, outsourcing payroll solutions and general accountancy. They are now seeking an ambitious Finance Manager/Tax Accountant, with a very analytical approach, to be based in their Paisley office. It is envisioned that the successful candidate will progress to the position of Finance Director.

What?

You will be an analytical Tax Specialist with excellent tax accounting skills and the ability to effectively audit tax information. You must have superior accounting skills and some knowledge of all tax laws, regulations and current updates. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, or equivalent, and certification as a CPA, with at least 2 years Tax Specialist experience. Good understanding of R&D tax credits and account withdrawals and taxation. Strong knowledge of deductions and penalties. Familiarity with all business structures and various tax rates.

Duties?

  • Conduct audits of individual, business and corporate tax returns.
  • Investigate the validity of 501(c)(3) claimed status.
  • Keep abreast of all laws and regulation changes in tax law.
  • Provide assistance and education to taxpayers.
  • Accurately and timely prepare tax returns for corporate and individual clients.
  • Audit and analyse book and tax differences.
  • Identify and make recommendations for potential tax savings.

Anything else?

You will have a good understanding of current IT, internet, servers and Wi-Fi systems. Understand and implement data security and storage.
