We’re working with a respected Wirral law firm seeking an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor to join their expanding Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, commercially minded lawyer who can manage a varied caseload, build client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the department.
The Role
- You’ll handle a broad range of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, landlord and tenant work, development, secured lending and portfolio management.
- You’ll be expected to progress matters efficiently, maintain exceptional client care, and support junior colleagues where required.
- Candidates with an existing following or strong commercial contacts will be particularly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a varied commercial property caseload from instruction to completion.
- Providing clear, timely communication to clients and maintaining strong relationships.
- Delivering high standards of client care and professional conduct.
- Ensuring confidentiality and secure handling of all documentation.
- Meeting billing, time‑recording and financial targets.
- Maintaining accurate records within the firm’s case management system.
- Ensuring full compliance with SRA Principles, CQS Practice Management Standards and internal policies.
- Supporting junior fee earners and contributing to departmental development.
- Engaging in business development, networking and raising the firm’s profile.
About You
- 3–5+ years’ PQE in commercial property.
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters.
- Ideally brings an existing following or strong commercial client contacts.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
- Confident managing files independently and working to deadlines.
- Strong understanding of compliance, AML and regulatory requirements.
- Professional, organised and commercially focused.
