Successful candidates will have the option of working the same set/fixed days each week, which can be agreed upon commencement of contract or weekly. For those who prefer to earn higher wages by working more and flexible days, there is also a banked hours scheme which can be signed up to. Our drivers earn an average minimum of £30,000 per year. We are seeking to recruit the highest quality of Coach Drivers to join our team of experienced, talented drivers driving our excellent vehicles. Please only apply if you have coach driving experience, and are motivated to work within a busy family business, where hard work, reliability, loyalty and excellent communication skills are greatly appreciated and very well rewarded.
Responsibilities:- Safely driving and operating our coaches, as well as performing daily walk-around checks, and re-fuelling
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle at all times
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle
- For suitable candidates there will be the opportunity to train to become a driver/guide on our hugely successful Day Tour Program. There may also be the requirement to occasionally be away from home overnight when a group is on an overnight trip. If this is the case overnight accommodation with Bed, Breakfast and evening meal will be provided.
- Communicating clearly and politely with colleagues
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain our company reputation
- Maintain accurate records of passenger counts, mileage, defects, work carried out
- Valid Class D driving license, along with Digital Card and Up to date Driver CPC
- Coach driving experience essential
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact with passengers and colleagues
- Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety protocols
- Reliability and good health is essential, and excellent timekeeping of the utmost importance. All candidates must take pride in the appearance of themselves (uniform will be provided) and the vehicle
- All candidates must have their own means of transport to get to and from our depot at Mallusk where work will commence.
Starting dates are flexible.
