About The Role

We’re looking for Bank Support Workers to join our amazing teams in Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire. No two days will be the same supporting people to achieve their very best. You will have a varied array of tasks whilst on shift; everything from cooking & cleaning, taking part in activities and games, managing challenging behaviours and even putting your feet up watching TV with the people you are supporting. We aim to create a positive, relaxed home environment where the people we support feel safe, supported & listened to. You will be supported and guided by senior staff members to establish appropriate boundaries, manage behaviours effectively and nurture the people we support towards positive futures.
Hours
0 hour contract, pick and choose the hours to suit you and your lifestyle. This is a 24-hour service 7 days a week, so flexibility is required. You will be required to do sleep‑ins.

The home is located in Hazlemere, High Wycombe.
About You
We’re not looking for any kind of specific experience. It is your personality and values that will make you a good fit for the role and our organisation. We will train and develop you to become a great support worker if you:
- have genuine empathy for the people we support, with the positivity, patience, and resilience to support them through difficult times.
- enjoy teamwork and take pride in getting a job done well alongside your colleagues.
- have excellent face to face communication skills and a good standard of literacy.
- have good time management skills and the ability to prioritise your own workload.
To keep the people we support safe, we follow safer recruitment steps. This includes DBS checks, reference checks and reviewing your work history.
