We’re mccglc, a global creative agency based in East London and we’re on the hunt for a Digital Designer who’s ready to push ideas beyond the expected and bring bold, imaginative stories to life. If you’re passionate about editing visually striking, emotionally engaging content and love crafting compelling narratives for some globally recognisable brands, this role is for you.
About the Role: Sculpting Next-Generation Digital Experiences
This is a fantastic chance to immerse yourself in a dynamic environment, working alongside leaders in graphics, architectural, video/broadcasting, and interactive/digital design. You will be a crucial addition to our expanding graphics team, focused on high-end creative solutions for our clients.
What you’ll be doing:
- Conceptualising and Designing Digital Activations: Creating compelling UI/UX design for large-scale brand activations in congress and exhibition environments.
- Video & Motion Content: Developing storyboards to support the video team in production of bespoke video and motion graphics content.
- Full-Cycle Delivery: Taking ownership of projects—from initial concept creation and selling-in the vision to superb development and final execution and deployment.
You will receive guidance and creative direction from our team leaders, but your inspiration, flair, and creative drive will be key to delivering highly innovative and relevant design solutions across multiple simultaneous projects.

You have a strong enthusiasm for multiple types of design media, not simply graphics, and your attitude is one of positive action and willingness to achieve results.
We Are Looking For a Creative with a CV and Portfolio Demonstrating:
- Proven Digital Expertise (5+ Years): A track record of creating digital designs and taking them through to completion and live deployment.
- UI/UX Mastery: Excellent understanding and practical experience in UI/UX principles, including creating concept designs, wire-framing, and interactive prototyping.
- Conceptual & Execution Skills: Top-notch ability to conceptualise briefs from issue through to final artwork and implementation for digital applications.
- Technical Proficiency: Complete and operational knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, Photoshop, and Figma. Experience with video storyboarding tools and creating/working with Gslides, Miro Board, etc.
- Presentation & Leadership: The ability to verbally and visually lead projects from a graphical perspective, effectively liaising with fellow team members and client services.
- Sector Experience (A Plus): Experience working in the live event, exhibition, or brand activation industry is highly valued.
- Design Fundamentals: A deep understanding of branding, graphic design, the production process, with exceptional typography, composition, and design hierarchy skills.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to handle changing workloads and successfully translate a range of brand styles.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and have the right to work in the UK.
What will you get in return?
- £40,000–£45,000 based on experience
- Full-time, office-based role in our Shoreditch studio — collaborate in person with a passionate creative team
- Flexible 7-hour workdays (core hours 10am–4pm)
- 26 days holiday + bank holidays (accruing 1 additional day each year, up to 30 days)
