McCauley Trailers are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales initiatives across designated territories and product range. There are two potential roles, one for Commercial UK and one for Agri UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic client engagement, building key accounts, and expanding our market presence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work for an end to end manufacturing OEM, to be part of a leading trailer manufacturing team and to contribute to organisational success whilst developing your opportunities for a successful career and rewarding future.
Duties
- Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives to maximise revenue growth.
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship-building.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales tactics and product positioning.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored campaigns that resonate with regional audiences.
- Lead, motivate, and support the regional sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and strategic insights to senior management.
This position is open to both agricultural and commercial sales career opportunities depending on your background and experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in B2B sales with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Knowledge of the industry or similar industries with ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
- Fluency in another language is beneficial but not essential.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Organised, proactive, and capable of working independently within a fast-paced environment.
