Mc Carthy & Stone are recruiting a professional Night Care Supervisor for our Portman Court development in Uckfield, East Sussex.
Compensation
Hourly rate: £12.24 per hour for sleeping night shifts. Extra £1 per hour for work from midnight Friday to midnight Sunday.
- Positions and Hours
- Position 1: 2 nights a week, alternate weekends (23 hours per week).
- Position 2: 3 nights over a 2‑week period, alternate weekends (34.5 hours per week).
Shift times: 21:30 to 09:00. Care Supervisors sleep between 23:00 and 07:00, providing emergency support throughout that period.
About the Role
We seek a professional Care Supervisor to exemplify the high‑quality customer standards we are renowned for and support the management and smooth running of this thriving community of active and independent older people.
About You
- Warm, friendly, organised, and self‑motivated with experience in a care or support environment and excellent care skills.
- Desire to work in the health and social care sector and preferably hold a QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 3 qualification; alternative qualifications and relevant experience will be considered.
- Keen to manage the security of the development, look after the safety and wellbeing of homeowners, and oversee the Care and Support teams.
- Ability to coordinate and facilitate activities that strengthen community spirit.
- Driven to grow skills and lead by example, thinking quickly on the floor.
- Able to make a difference to the wellbeing and happiness of older people.
