We are looking for passionate Care Assistants to support the wellbeing of older adults across Hinckley and surrounding areas. The role, based on a rota, involves personal care, domestic support, and social facilitation for homeowners in our purpose-built developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individual homeowners with daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
  • Maintain communal areas and perform domestic tasks such as cleaning and shopping.
  • Assist homeowners with transport, appointments and social activities to enhance wellbeing.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care environment with a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification is preferred but not essential.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
  • Strong interpersonal and empathy skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, alternate weekends and some bank holidays.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly rate: £14.50, with an additional 30p per hour for evening shifts and £1.30 for weekend hours.
  • Monthly rota of up to 35 hours, covering 7am‑10pm shifts.
  • Travel expenses covered: mileage paid at 43p per mile and parking available on site.
  • Uniform and mobile phone provided.
  • 28 days holiday (pro rata for part‑time), including bank holidays.
  • Life insurance, pension plan and employee assistance programme.
  • Professional development opportunities including training toward a Diploma in Health and Social Care and potential progression to senior care assistant role.
