We are looking for passionate Care Assistants to support the wellbeing of older adults across Hinckley and surrounding areas. The role, based on a rota, involves personal care, domestic support, and social facilitation for homeowners in our purpose-built developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support individual homeowners with daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
- Maintain communal areas and perform domestic tasks such as cleaning and shopping.
- Assist homeowners with transport, appointments and social activities to enhance wellbeing.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in a care environment with a Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification is preferred but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
- Strong interpersonal and empathy skills, with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: £14.50, with an additional 30p per hour for evening shifts and £1.30 for weekend hours.
- Monthly rota of up to 35 hours, covering 7am‑10pm shifts.
- Travel expenses covered: mileage paid at 43p per mile and parking available on site.
- Uniform and mobile phone provided.
- 28 days holiday (pro rata for part‑time), including bank holidays.
