We are seeking a high-calibre, commercially astute Land Manager / Senior Land Buyer to play a pivotal role in strengthening our land function and driving the continued growth of our development portfolio.
You bring a proven track record in land acquisition within the housebuilding or property sector, with demonstrable success in sourcing, negotiating and securing high-quality sites. You possess in-depth market knowledge across Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and Derbyshire, supported by a well-established network of agents, landowners, and key regional stakeholders.
You are a confident and credible dealmaker, comfortable leading complex negotiations and navigating opportunities from initial identification through to completion. With strong commercial acumen, you rigorously assess viability, challenge assumptions, and ensure all opportunities align with strategic objectives and return expectations.
Thriving in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, proactive approach. You are highly active in the market, spending significant time sourcing opportunities, while working collaboratively with planning, technical and commercial teams to maximise site potential.
You are an influential communicator, able to build trust and drive outcomes across a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, consistently securing the best possible commercial position for the business.
This is a hybrid role, with a requirement to be in either our Altrincham or Coventry office a minimum of one day per week, with the remainder of your time focused on sourcing land opportunities across the region.
