As a Field Care Supervisor you will be a vital part of our management service delivery team, overseeing and managing personal care services for Homeowners, ensuring that our care provision is tailored to individual needs and preferences. You’ll work closely with the Registered Care Manager to supervise a team of Mobile Care & Support Assistants, ensure compliance with organisational standards, and contribute to the creation of personalised care plans that promote dignity, privacy and positive outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Care Manager in managing a designated geographical area, including staff supervision and Homeowner reviews.
- Ensure our care services are safe, effective and of the highest quality.
- Collaborate with a multi‑disciplined team to maintain effective communication and administration systems.
- Monitor and support the Mobile Care & Support Assistants, conducting competency‑based assessments and spot checks.
- Undertake administrative tasks and assist in the production of management information.
- Cover calls at short notice if care assistants are absent due to sickness or on annual leave.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of care experience and a Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification.
- Supervisory experience.
- Excellent understanding of the care sector and independent living in later life.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with flexibility to cover care calls at short notice.
