Are you ready to play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial success of high‑quality residential developments?

Responsibilities

We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Surveyor to join our commercial team, providing accurate cost intelligence and supporting key business decisions from land acquisition through to project completion. In this role, you will take ownership of producing robust cost appraisals, analysing core and abnormal construction costs, maintaining accurate regional cost libraries, supporting value engineering initiatives, and delivering the commercial insight needed to ensure every scheme is viable, efficient, and profitable.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years experience within Quantity Surveying or Estimating.
  • Strong commercial and cost planning expertise across residential developments.
  • Experience using Bidcon or similar estimating software.
  • A sound understanding of construction methods, procurement routes, and cost structures.
  • Confidence producing budgets, forecasts, and CBRs.
  • Strong subcontractor negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • The ability to challenge commercial and site‑level variations effectively.
  • RICS qualification and a valid CSCS card are desirable.

You will be highly analytical, organised, and an excellent communicator, with a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Locations

Projects are currently based across Kidlington, Apsley, Bracknell, and Flitwick, with an expectation to collaborate with the wider commercial team in the Ringwood office 2‑3 times per month.
