Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we are looking for passionate Mobile Domestic and Lifestyle Assistants to join our growing care team.

Location: Kendal & Surrounding Areas - A valid full UK driving license and use of your own vehicle is essential to be considered for this role.

Travel expenses covered, mileage paid at 43p per mile.

Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour, plus expenses.

Hours: Various Available on a rota basis that will include mornings, evenings and alternate weekends (may include some bank holidays) anytime between 7am to 10pm.

About the Role

This role consists of domestic services and independent living support.

You’ll work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers and Registered Care Manager to deliver personal bespoke domestic and lifestyle services.

This could be from assisting cleaning throughout our communal areas and within our homeowners’ apartments, household tasks such as laundry and shopping, to offering companionship and supporting wellbeing activities.

This is a mobile field-based role to grow our services so there is a requirement to travel between our developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Domestic: Maintain communal areas within our developments to a high standard, ensuring a clean, tidy, and welcoming environment for all homeowners.

You will also offer domestic support for our homeowners, such as cleaning, shopping, and managing household tasks.

  • Social Support: To assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and attending appointments, enhancing their overall well-being and social connections.

  • Support Individual Homeowners: To provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.

Then you may wish to be considered for our Care & Support roles which are £14.50 ph plus 43p mileage.

  • What We’re Looking For
  • Skills & Experience: Ideally you will have previous experience in a domestic or housekeeping role.

However, this is not essential as we can provide full training for anyone looking for a career change.

You must have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to manage your time effectively.

  • Driving License: This is a field-based role, so a valid full UK driving license is required, and access to your own car along with a willingness to travel between developments.
  • Flexibility: The ability to work on a rota basis that will include early mornings, lates and alternate weekends, and some bank holidays.
