Join McCarthy Stone as a Relief Care and Support Assistant – make a real difference in residents’ daily lives. You will work with residents in one centralised development, with early and late shifts available and alternate weekends as arranged with the manager.
Responsibilities:
- Work early and late shifts as arranged with the manager; includes alternate weekends.
- Provide care and support to residents to enable independent living where possible.
- Assist with light domestic duties, coordinate resident activities, and support appointments and shopping as needed.
Position Details:
- Contract: Zero Hours
- Location: Booth Court, Ipswich
- Salary: Starting at £13.26 per hour, with enhanced rates on weekends and evenings.
Booth Court is a friendly Retirement Living PLUS community offering retirement apartments for residents aged 70 and over.

About You:
- Location: Ideally within commuting distance to the estate
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a UK health and social care role is preferred. A Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is an asset but not mandatory.
