Mobile Domestic and Lifestyle Assistant
Due to our evolving care and lifestyle delivery, we are looking for passionate Mobile Domestic and Lifestyle Assistants to join our growing care team.
Location: Hexham. A valid full UK driving licence and use of your own vehicle is essential. Travel expenses covered, mileage paid at 43p per mile.
Hourly rate: £12.85 per hour plus expenses.
Hours
Up to 10 hours per week on a rota basis that includes mornings, evenings and alternate weekends (may include some bank holidays) anytime between 7am to 10pm.
We do not offer sponsorship.
About the Role
This mobile field‑based role involves domestic services and independent living support. You’ll work closely with the Field Care Supervisor, House Managers and Registered Care Manager to deliver personal bespoke domestic and lifestyle services, including cleaning, laundry, shopping, companionship and wellbeing activities.
Responsibilities
- Domestic: Maintain communal areas to a high standard and provide domestic support to homeowners (cleaning, shopping, household tasks).
- Social Support: Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements and attending appointments to enhance their overall wellbeing and social connections.
- Support Individual Homeowners: Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance (if appointed to Care & Support roles).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Skills & Experience: Ideally previous experience in a domestic or housekeeping role. Full training provided for career changers.
- Driving Licence: Valid full UK driving licence and access to a personal vehicle; willingness to travel between developments.
- Flexibility: Ability to work on a rota basis, including early mornings, late evenings, alternate weekends and some bank holidays.
