McCarthy Stone is the UK’s leading developer and manager of retirement communities. We’re looking for an experienced and commercially driven Head of Rentals to lead and grow our Rentals Division. This is a senior leadership role where you’ll shape the strategy for our rental proposition, drive portfolio performance, and lead a high-performing lettings team to maximise occupancy and deliver excellent landlord and customer outcomes.
The Role
- Develop and deliver the strategic direction of our rentals proposition
- Lead and inspire a team of lettings professionals
- Drive valuations, property instructions and pricing strategies to reduce voids and maximise performance
- Oversee marketing and go-to-market strategies for rental properties
- Build strong relationships with landlords and industry bodies including Association of Residential Letting Agents, The Property Ombudsman and Association of Residential Managing Agents
- Establish and monitor KPIs and performance metrics for the Rentals Division
- Work closely with senior leaders to identify opportunities to grow the portfolio and improve performance
About You
- Strong experience in residential lettings and rental portfolio management
- A proven track record of delivering rental growth and performance
- Experience leading and developing successful teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and a data-driven approach to decision making
- Degree in a business-related field and/or ARLA qualification.
